September 15 Students learned to estimated square roots and cube roots. Homework is p.244 1-6 and p. 237 25-34. We used IXL.com square root cannon game to practice estimating square roots. Quiz tomorrow.

September 19 3rd period was only about 20 minutes due to soft lock down, so we were able to complete a tree map on real numbers- rational and irrational numbers. 6th period we also completed a tree map on real numbers and then learned how to write fractions from a repeating decimal.

September 20 3rd period went to Magnet presentation. 6th period we did p.176-177 examples and Got it? a-f then examples 5-6 g-i. We then started working with laws of exponents p.184 examples 1-3 got it? a-c and worked p.186 prob. 1-5
