**August 10: Students were given their consumable text books. We worked on congruent and similar figures finding missing side lengths and writing congruence statements.**

**August 11: Students reviewed finding missing side lengths of similar figures and were introduced to translations.**

**August 12: Students reviewed translations and learned to determine the coordinates of a figure after a reflection over either axis. Homework: P.51 prob. 1-7**

**August 21: Students took a quiz on dilation. Classwork/homework P.113 prob.11,12,13,14,15**

**August 24: Students reviewed angles. Students made a Tree Map about angles. Homework is 8 or 9 problems on a worksheet "Skills Practice" 6th period will do these problems tomorrow.**

**August 25: Students worked again with supplementary and complementary angles. Students proved interior angle sum of triangles is 180 degrees. Homework P.22 prob. 1,2 P.23 prob. 1,2**

**August 26: Students worked on finding measures of triangle given a ratio and worked on exterior angle equals the sum of 2 remote interior angles. Classwork was p.22 probs. 3 and 4 and homework is p.23 prob. 3-12. Students had time in class to begin homework and if time was used wisely could have finished the homework.**

**August 27: Students worked in groups writing out explanations of how to find missing triangle interior and exterior angles. Homework is p. 25 problems 18,20,22,24, and 26. QUIZ tomorrow.**

**August 28: Students took a quiz today on Triangle interior and exterior angles.**

**August 31: Class time was spent half on reteaching interior and exterior angles of a triangle, and the other half on introducing parallel lines cut by a transversal and the relationships of the angles formed. Homework is a pizzaz puzzle on supplementary and complementary angles.**

**September 1: Finish Parallel lines cut by a transversal foldable. Go over examples in book p.10 and 11. Homework is Finish Pizzaz Puzzle on supplementary and complementary angles and p. 13 prob. 1-6**

**September 3: Took Quiz on angles formed by parallel lines cut by transversal.**

**September 8: Students finished up Marietta Pizza Co. performance task. Students started a tree map to help them study for the unit 1 test this Thursday and Friday. Started on Unit 1 review worksheet.**

**September 9: Students worked on their tree map and Unit 1 test review to ready themselves for the Unit 1 Test tomorrow. Homework is to finish tree map and work on review.**

**September 10: Took Unit 1 Test part 1 make sure your tree map is complete and ready for part 2 of test tomorrow and make sure your study guide is complete.**

**September 11: Took Unit 1 Test part 2 and then worked on crazy triangles.**
