January 5 We revisited our class expectations and procedures.

January 6 We used graphing calculators to check tables and graphs of functions.

January 7 Homework p. 500 1-5

January 8 Slope- intercept Homework p. 519 1-7

January 11 Power point on slope-intercept form (solve for y) took notes and practiced. Homework is worksheet solving for y problems 1-10 only.

January 12 We learned the slope formula and how to use it given 2 points. Homework is a worksheet finding slope given 2 points problems 1-10.

January 13 We reviewed for quiz on Friday. Homework is review sheet and will be due Friday.

January 14 Students went to their compacting groups. Quiz tomorrow on slope and slope-intercept

January 15 Students took quiz on slope and slope-intercept. No homework....enjoy the long weekend and see you Tuesday.

January 19 Students created a flow map to help them solve equations for y. Students did a scavenger hunt solving equations for y and could use their flow map. Homework was a worksheet- Slope-Intercept Form Worksheet.

January 20 Students used similar triangles to show the slope of a line is the same between any two points on a non-vertical line. P.526 Example 1. Classwork was a worksheet-Using Similar Triangles to Find Slope prob. 1,2 and 4. No homework.

January 21 Students used laminated coordinate planes to learn to graph equations in slope-intercept form. Homework was graphing worksheet (Kuta) finish it for 3rd and 5th.....6th complete the front side.

January 22 Students used graphing calculators to check their homework. Worked on similar triangles packet from Wed. No homework.

January 25 We went over quizzes on slope. Students began to write equations of a graphed line by finding the y-intercept and slope. Homework is to finish worksheet that was started in class. There will be a quiz this Friday.

February 2 Returned quizzes and let students make quiz corrections.

February 3 Write equations in slope-intercept form from a word problem

February 4 Review worksheet for quiz tomorrow

February 5 Finished going over review sheet and then took quiz. No homework. Unit 5 Test Friday, FEB 12.
